Verse 1
قُلْqulSay
هُوَhuwaHe
ٱللَّهُl-lahu(is) Allah
أَحَدٌaḥadunthe One
Translation
Say He (is) Allah the One
Verse 2
ٱللَّهُal-lahuAllah
ٱلصَّمَدُl-ṣamaduthe Eternal, the Absolute
Translation
Allah the Eternal, the Absolute
Verse 3
لَمْlamNot
يَلِدْyalidHe begets
وَلَمْwalamand not
يُولَدْyūladHe is begotten
Translation
Not He begets and not He is begotten
Verse 4
وَلَمْwalamAnd not
يَكُنyakunis
لَّهُۥlahufor Him
كُفُوًاkufuwanequivalent
أَحَدٌۢaḥadunany [one]
Translation
And not is for Him equivalent any [one]
