'Abasa
He Frowned
Verse 1
Translation
He frowned and turned away
Verse 2
Translation
Because came to him the blind man
Verse 3
Translation
But what would make you know that he might purify himself
Verse 4
Translation
Or be reminded so would benefit him the reminder
Verse 5
Translation
As for (him) who considers himself free from need
Verse 6
Translation
So you to him give attention
Verse 7
Translation
And not upon you that not he purifies himself
Verse 8
Translation
But as for (he) who came to you striving
Verse 9
Translation
While he fears
Verse 10
Translation
But you from him (are) distracted
Verse 11
Translation
Nay Indeed, it (is) a reminder
Verse 12
Translation
So whosoever wills may remember it
Verse 13
Translation
In sheets honored
Verse 14
Translation
Exalted purified
Verse 15
Translation
In (the) hands (of) scribes
Verse 16
Translation
Noble dutiful
Verse 17
Translation
Is destroyed [the] man how ungrateful is he
Verse 18
Translation
From what thing He created him
Verse 19
Translation
From a semen-drop He created him then He proportioned him
Verse 20
Translation
Then the way He made easy for him
Verse 21
Translation
Then He causes him to die and provides a grave for him
Verse 22
Translation
Then when He wills He will resurrect him
Verse 23
Translation
Nay Not he has accomplished what He commanded him
Verse 24
Translation
Then let look the man at his food
Verse 25
Translation
That [We] [We] poured the water (in) abundance
Verse 26
Translation
Then We cleaved the earth splitting
Verse 27
Translation
Then We caused to grow therein grain
Verse 28
Translation
And grapes and green fodder
Verse 29
Translation
And olive and date-palms
Verse 30
Translation
And gardens (of) thick foliage
Verse 31
Translation
And fruits and grass
Verse 32
Translation
(As) a provision for you and for your cattle
Verse 33
Translation
But when comes the Deafening Blast
Verse 34
Translation
(The) Day will flee a man from his brother
Verse 35
Translation
And his mother and his father
Verse 36
Translation
And his wife and his children
Verse 37
Translation
For every man among them that Day (will be) a matter occupying him
Verse 38
Translation
Faces that Day (will be) bright
Verse 39
Translation
Laughing rejoicing at good news
Verse 40
Translation
And faces that Day upon them (will be) dust
Verse 41
Translation
Will cover them darkness
Verse 42
Translation
Those [they] (are) the disbelievers the wicked ones
