Al-Fajr
The Dawn
Verse 1
Translation
By the dawn
Verse 2
Translation
And the nights ten
Verse 3
Translation
And the even and the odd
Verse 4
Translation
And the night when it passes
Verse 5
Translation
Is in that (not) an oath for those who understand
Verse 6
Translation
Did not you see how dealt your Lord with Aad
Verse 7
Translation
Iram possessors (of) lofty pillars
Verse 8
Translation
Which not had been created like them in the cities
Verse 9
Translation
And Thamud who carved out the rocks in the valley
Verse 10
Translation
And Firaun owner of stakes
Verse 11
Translation
Who transgressed in the lands
Verse 12
Translation
And (made) much therein corruption
Verse 13
Translation
So poured on them your Lord scourge (of) punishment
Verse 14
Translation
Indeed your Lord (is) surely Ever Watchful
Verse 15
Translation
And as for man when does try him his Lord and is generous to him and favors him he says My Lord has honored me
Verse 16
Translation
But when does He try him and restricts for him his provision then he says My Lord (has) humiliated me
Verse 17
Translation
Nay But not you honor the orphan
Verse 18
Translation
And not you feel the urge to feed the poor
Verse 19
Translation
And you consume the inheritance devouring altogether
Verse 20
Translation
And you love wealth (with) love immense
Verse 21
Translation
Nay When is leveled the earth pounded (and) crushed
Verse 22
Translation
And comes your Lord and the Angels rank (upon) rank
Verse 23
Translation
And is brought that Day Hell That Day will remember man but how (will be) for him the remembrance
Verse 24
Translation
He will say O I wish I had sent forth for my life
Verse 25
Translation
So that Day not will punish (as) His punishment anyone
Verse 26
Translation
And not will bind (as) His binding anyone
Verse 27
Translation
O soul who is satisfied
Verse 28
Translation
Return to your Lord well pleased and pleasing
Verse 29
Translation
So enter among My slaves
Verse 30
Translation
And enter My Paradise
